Incorporating AERCO’s field-proven stainless steel, fire-tube design, the BMK5000 and BMK6000 provides consulting-specifying engineers, facilities management, and building owners with a boiler that provides flexibility to fit in both retrofit and new construction that require one or multiple five or six million BTU/hr boilers.

The Benchmark 5000 and 6000 have an operating efficiency of 94.5% to reduce operating expenses and yield the highest possible seasonal fuel savings. Measuring only 79 H x 34 W x 109 D (inches), the Benchmark 5000 and 6000 are the most compactly designed five or six million BTU/hr boiler in the market, and approximately the same size of other three million BTU/hr boilers. Another design advantage of the Benchmark 5000 and 6000 is the 439 stainless steel construction that helps the boiler achieve high efficiency. It also improves longevity and creates greater heat exchanger cycling resistance.

The Benchmark 5000 and 6000 come standard with AERCO’s patented Oxygen Level (O2) monitoring system that can display the O2 level directly on the boiler’s C-More™ Control Panel in real time.

For added convenience, AERCO’s remote data collection option continually monitors the internal operations, scanning performance parameters and potential fault risks. This information is collected and evaluated at our data center which has the capability to monitor performance trends and fault occurrences. The Benchmark 5000 and 6000 can also be remotely accessed via Modbus or Intranet, enabling the boilers' emissions level and fuel economy to be measured without traditional calibration devices, helping to maximize fuel economy.

Employing a proven Low NOx burner design and proprietary fuel system, the Benchmark 5000 and 6000 support strict emissions control. The boilers deliver <20ppm NOx at all firing levels, making them an ideal choice for environmentally-friendly projects. (9 ppm NOx is available as an option.) Their small footprint, high efficiency and lower operating costs can help facilities earn LEED points.

The Benchmark 5000 and 6000 can be serviced via the front or top of the boiler, as well as the side, allowing for true side-by-side installation, further reducing footprint requirements. The boilers offers a number of venting capabilities including sidewall, through-the-roof, and sealed combustion for broad installation flexibility. BMK5000 and BMK6000 boilers come with a 10-year non-pro-rated against condensate corrosion, thermal shock and manufacturing defects heat exchanger warranty.

Reduced NOx Level
AERCO recommended calibration points can be re-set to support applications that require reduced NOx emissions level of <9ppm. However, the unit's input rate, performance efficiency and venting requirements will change. Please consult the factory for assistance balancing your efficiency and environmental requirements.


ACCESSORIES

AERCO Condensate Neutralizer Kit
Ideal for neutralizing condensate from condensing boilers and furnaces operating on natural gas or propane.

AERCO Control System (ACS)
Optional multiple unit controller recommended for installations of eight or more boilers to maximize operating efficiency.

BelimoF6... HDU Series 2-way butterfly valves
Designed to meet the needs of HVAC and commercial application requiring bubble tight shut-off for liquids. Typical applications include boiler isolation, chiller isolation, cooling tower isolation, change-over systems, air handler coil control, bypass and process control applications.

Communications Gateway
Optional accessory supports boiler or BMS integration with BACnet, LonWorks and N2 systems.

Integration Panel
Allows for automatic BST Master function transfer to the next available unit in the event the original Master experiences a control panel or communication failure.

Sentinel Products
Compatible with all materials found in a hydronic loop, these chemicals offer overall protection of a heating system from sludge, scale, corrosion, and freeze conditions.

Secondary Low Water Cut-Off (LWCO)
Where required by building code. Secondary LWCO must be installed external to boiler.
