Each compact steam-to-water or water-to-water heater utilizes a space-saving, vertical, double wall U-tube heater exchanger specifically designed to insure that no mixing of the primary and domestic water flows can occur without prior warning. Compliant with BOCA, IAPMO and NAPHCC code requirements, all wetted parts are 304 stainless steel, virgin Teflon, copper or copper alloy for longevity.
PRODUCT OPTIONS
Packaged Heater with 2-Way Valve - Shipped completely assembled and ready for immediate hook-up; includes heat exchanger, patented AERCO steam control valve and your choice of electronic or pneumatic controls package.

Semi-Packaged Heater with 3-Way Valve - Shipped with loose 3-way valve and no interconnecting boiler water piping; includes heat exchanger and full pneumatic controls package;

Bare Heater - Heat exchanger only; insulation optional.
ACCESSORIES
Domestic Water Storage Tank - AERCO storage tanks are ASME certified glass-lined pressure vessels designed for use with instantaneous water heaters. When contending with challenging applications they assure consistent hot water service during peak demands. The AERCO storage tanks are available in stratified or accumulator storage configurations.

CONTROLS
Electronic Controls - AERCO's exclusive electronic control system combines a control box assembly with all circuitry, a flow meter installed at the cold water inlet for feed-forward sensing, feedback sensors and voltage regulator. The system utilizes PID algorithms to monitor outlet temperature and change the control valve position to maintain optimal temperature control. Two additional sensors, connected to the heating fluid inlet and outlet respectively, provide a real-time, independent indication of inlet and outlet temperatures. Easy-to-use digital displays are protected by clear-cover enclosure which can be locked. The system also includes an overtemp limit switch and water solenoid valve to function as a secondary water relief valve in an over-temperature condition.

Modbus Communications - Optional control board supports remote control and integration via Modbus protocol to Building Automation or Energy Management Software via RS-232 or RS-485 port.

Communications Gateway - optional accessory supports integration with BACnet, LonWorks and N2 systems. Available only for heaters equipped with Modbus control board.

Pneumatic Controls - AERCO's exclusive Loadalert system continuously monitors water temperature and flow and modulates the flow of boiler water through the control valve and into the coils. Control panel with dual solenoid valve over-temperature limit system. One solenoid to disable boiler water control valve; One solenoid to perform as a secondary water relief valve. Panel also includes power on/tripped status lights and three liquid-filled remote capillary thermometers to display boiler inlet/outlet and DHW outlet water temperatures.

Dry Contacts - optional for remote "High Limit Tripped Status" indication.
